I think what Ive learned over the past few years is that, theres always a common denominator in all of my roles, where I want them to be very strong, independent women. But recently, as time has gone by and as I get older, Ive realised that the strongest women are often the most broken, or the people who deal with the most hardship. So I find strength in women that other people probably wouldnt find strength in.

get to know me meme: [2/5] celebrity crushes - Crystal Reed

“Oh jeez, when I was young I had a crush on Jonathan Taylor Thomas from Home Improvement. He also did the voice in The Lion King so Simba was very cute to me.. I had posters of him and the Backstreet Boys all over my bedroom walls.”

When I was in my teens, I thought, ‘Would I like to try and work hard at being an actor, or do I want to work hard at doing something musical?’ Acting won out, but I do really enjoy those moments where I get to just belt something out. - Emilia Clarke

What would you say to that type of concern that it suggests to girls “stick with that abusive boyfriend, maybe you could fix it”?

It’s such a good question and it’s something I really grappled with at the beginning; the kind of Stockholm Syndrome question about this story. So, I did some reading about Stockholm Syndrome. That’s where a prisoner will take on the characteristics of and fall in love with, in this sort of really strange way, the captor. Belle actively argues and disagrees with him constantly. She has none of the characteristics of someone with Stockholm Syndrome because she keeps her independence, she keeps her independence of mind. And I also think that there is a very intentional switch where in my mind Belle decides to stay. - Emma Watson

“Taylor is arguably one of the richest women in pop, and she is so understated and I love it. She lives in a very tiny cottage. She doesn’t wear jewelry, doesn’t have expensive art in her house, it’s just a small cottage, very quaint, her cat lives there with her, and she watches CSI Miami and that’s it. So she has the coolest house from the point of view that she doesn’t need to buy a huge mansion cos it’s just her and her cat that live there.”

There’s one bit where I got to jump off a chair, onto a table, then jump off a table and grab onto a chain, swing on the chain, push off against a pillar, turn around and kick the monster in the chest. I got to do that for myself! It was awesome. It was one of my favourite days on this film, actually. It was pouring, relentless rain, and freezing cold and it was f*****g awesome.” — on getting to do his own stunts for Victor Frankenstein (x)
